When dynamic director Jane Holden steps in front of the Heart of New Jersey Chorus, her infections enthusiasm spreads to each member. When she smiles at us, we just can't help but smile right back!
Jane received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and is an elementary school music teacher. Her duties include teaching Kindergarten through fifth grade and she has a fifth grade chorus of 120+ children (whew)!
Jane has been a member of Sweet Adelines International since 1986. She sings bass with our very own Swing Time quartet. After many years as Assistant Director, Jane became a Certified Director in 1996. She directed a local men's barbershop chorus for three years. In January, 2002, she stepped off the risers to be welcomed as our director.
